With Thanksgiving around the corner, State Farm teamed up with William Shatner to drop some absolutely enchanting PSAs about the danger of turkey fryers and the idiots that operate them.
Have you tried fried turkey before? It’s absolutely amazing… so juicy.
This one is less funny, but shows just how serious these fires can be!
p.s. I’ll take Shatner any day of the week over those already-over “Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm is ____” commercials…
Stories like this always get me!
Update: I’ve now seen this on TV a few times, however– it’s only the minute-long version. I like this video more. Still, a great commercial!

DJ Quik – Heavy Mr Big Stuff by DJQuik
Quik just sent this out today. Dope beat and a rapid-fire verse in honor of the late Heavy D. RIP!
This is really well done. Nice colors. And done with suprisingly few cuts in the footage! Musta taken awhile to choreograph…

Brookline - A year after Brookline enacted a controversial program requiring dog owners to pay an annual fee to let their pets off leash in local parks, officials say participation in the program has been strong.
The Green Dog Program fees, approved by Brookline Selectmen in November of 2010, charges Brookline dog owners $50 a year to get a green tag that permits their dogs to be off leash during designated hours at 14 local parks. Dog owners who don’t live in Brookline can pay $100 a year for the off-leash privileges and dog walkers based in Brookline or elsewhere can also sign up for fees of $100 or $200, respectively.
Welp, Brookline and its inhabitants never cease to amaze me. They’re living in a world where they can’t even let their dogs run free in a park without proper registration. A sad day in America!
I’d like to direct readers to my write-up of this law AWHILE ago. I love the guy who wrote in the comments…
The law was NOT overturned, Harry! Suck it! I win! You lose!
This is really long, but really funny.
Features some crass language… and also Colin Mockrie from “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” fame, and Canada.

Music Monday — Family of the Year – St. Croix
This song is so poppy but it’s so catchy!
P.S. Who’s been to St. Croix? I haven’t. *sadface*
